For families you can have a relaxing day at the beach, getting a massage, meeting locals or just walk sleight in to the water and start snorkelling, the water is relatively shallow and great for younger members of the family who want to try snorkelling for the first time.

Hire some gear at the Island or take your own. Snorkel from the beach or arrange a tour when you arrive.

Come for a tour aboard the P&O Pacific Encounter cruise ship in the Family Suite. Pacific Adventure has a similar cabin/suite offering.

This is a two bedroom/cabin combination that can sleep up to 8 people by combining cabin 9105 & Cabin 9101. This cabin is at the front of the ship and has a huge balcony, three televisions, two bathrooms (one even has a bath tub), two fridges and occupants have access to the Byron Beach club when on board.
